A rhapsodic symphony for the new century from Robin Holloway and the Proms debut of eminent Wagner conductor Donald Runnicles in the third act of Die Walkure from the Ring cycle. This begins with The Ride of the Valkyries and ends with Wotan imprisoning his daughter Brunnhilde in a deep sleep on a high mountain.
