1/2. The Blue Note Albums of Jackie McLeanJez Nelson presents a new series about the remarkable albums jazz saxophonist jazz saxophonist Jackie McLean , who died in March, recorded for the Blue Note label in the 1960s.
The series, based on candid interviews between Nelson and McLean, includes contributions from other well-known musicians, including vibraphone legend Bobby Hutcherson.
