For the last programme in the series, Cliff Michelmore travels to Ruth Madoc 's cottage in Cambridgeshire.
Ruth's home is a far cry from Maplin's holiday camp in Hi-de-Hi! and reflects her love of family and pets. Ruth talks about her career as an actress and the value of her family life in Wales under the influence of her grandmother and mother. Her choice of music is sung by the BARGOED MALE VOICE CHOIR, of which she is the patron, in the chapel she attended as a child. It includes 'Speed your journey', 'Kum ba yah', 'Calon lan' and 'The lost chord'.
