Christmas In the Sun
Twenty-five young people from Somerset set out on an expedition to Ghana in West Africa.
In today's film they tell how they celebrated Christmas 1976 with their Ghanaian hosts' families and enjoyed traditional Ghanaian food. As well as visiting castles, joining in with the fishermen and buying souvenirs in the markets, they went on a 50-mile trek through tropical rain forests and helped a remote village to build a new school.

The Game of Genghis Khan
Buzkashi, an exciting and violent game of horsemen which Genghis Khan brought to Afghanistan, is a game more in name than spirit; the fury and the passion of the Mongol invasions is relived again in this dangerous and awe-inspiring sport.
Taste for Adventure follows the life of a top buzkashi player, Raheem Mohammed , and travels with him from his home in the sacred city of Mazar-i-Sharif to a great buzkashi game in the foothills of the Hindu Kush. There Raheem joins battle with another 130 horsemen, fighting it out with pounding hooves and steel-studded whips.

Question and Answer
What effect does the moon have on the tides? How do I recognise the constellations? What is a shooting star? Is there life on other worlds? If I want to take up astronomy, how should I go about it?
These are among the commonest questions which are sent in to Patrick Moore from viewers. This evening, from his Selsey home, he selects some of the regular questions and gives them answers.
