Diving for Roman Plunder
Off the Greek island of Antikythera, Captain Cousteau and the crew of Calypso return to the site where, in 1900, sponge divers made their celebrated discovery of shipwrecked art treasures - statues from the golden age of Greece.
Using modern underwater excavation techniques, Cousteau rediscovers more of the pottery, amphoras, coins and bronze figures that had been plundered by the Romans, but he also stumbles on exciting new evidence of the scientific achievements of those ancient Greeks.
