A story of Air-Sea Rescue by Duncan Ross.
An aircraft carrying freight from the Azores to Birmingham develops engine trouble over the Atlantic and eventually plunges into the sea. Long-range aircraft, high-speed launches, and helicopters of Coastal Command are brought into action to rescue four survivors floating aimlessly in a rubber dinghy more than a hundred miles from the coast of Cornwall.
