Once again, 24-year-old Roger Federer is the man to beat - unstoppable on grass in recent years, few will forget his straight-sets humiliation of power server Andy Roddick in last year's final. That said, he suffered a dramatic slump in form at the climax of this year's French Open, where he was soundly beaten by Spain's Rafael Nadal - a glimmer of hope, perhaps, for his opponent in today's curtain-raiser.
