All the latest news and action from the grass courts of the All England Club, on a day where the men's quarter-finals take pride of place.

This time last year, surprise quarter-finalist Feliciano Lopez was crushed by former champion Lleyton Hewitt, 7-5, 6-4, 7-6. The grass-loving Spaniard entered the match in the best form of his life, having knocked out top-ten seeds Mario Ancic and Marat Safin, but the Australian beat the big-serving player at his own game. Meanwhile Sweden's Thomas Johansson booked his place in the semi-finals for the first time with a straight-sets victory over Argentinian David Nalbandian in a rain-interrupted match. Finally, Andy Roddick took almost three hours to overcome a brave fightback from Frenchman Sebastien Grosjean to reach his third successive Wimbledon semi-final 3-6,6-2.6-1,3-6,6-3. He would remain on course for a repeat of 2004's final against Roger Federer.

4/4. For nearly six weeks the nuns have had to put up with the self-centred behaviour of their guests, who habitually bemoaned the rigour of religious discipline. Tonight, it's time for a showdown, Poor Clares-style. As their internment draws to a close, what have the four modern women learned from a life of prayer and contemplation? They may not have wanted to get to know God, but do they know themselves any better? Victoria and Angela explore the boundaries of convent life, while Debi faces a huge final hurdle. Meanwhile lona, the only volunteer who came with faith, confesses she has had to confront her toughest challenge. Strong language. Director Sandi Scott ; Series producer John Blake

Mary Renault brought the world of Plato, Theseus and Socrates to a new generation, just as conventional study of the classics reached a nadir of irrelevance in the 1950s. Without her, we might have lost touch with the roots of our civilization. How did she do it? With contributions from film director Oliver Stone, TV historian Bettany Hughes and broadcaster Sue MacGregor, a personal friend of Renault's.
