World championship coverage continues live from Sheffield's Crucible Theatre as the quarter-finals reach their conclusion. This time last year eventual champion Ronnie O'Sullivan was the first player to reach the semi-finals with a 13-3 demolition of a stoical Anthony Hamilton. Displaying a devastating show of strength the Rocket rattled in four centuries on his way to victory. Hamilton, already 7-1 adrift by the end of the morning session did manage to claw back two of the evening frames. But it proved to be a mission impossible with O'Sullivan sealing the match in the 16th with a session to spare. Hazel Irvine introduces today's quarter-final action, with Clive Everton ,

World championship quarter-final coverage continues live from Sheffield's Crucible Theatre. Last year's surprise finalist, Graeme Dott achieved a comfortable 13-7 quarter-final victory over David Gray. Although Dott built up a 11-5 lead in the first two sessions, he was far from convincing when play resumed. But the number 13 seed held his nerve to win a place in the semi-final against Matthew Stevens. With Hazel Irvine, Steve Davis and John Parrott.
