St Andrews in Fife is the setting for the British amateur championship, in which 300 players compete for the trophy and entry into this year's Open and next year's US Masters.

Hickstead's Derby, with its notorious Derby Bank, is one of the sport's most thrilling spectacles.
Peter Charles has dominated the event in recent years, but will face stiff competition from Michael Whitaker and nephew Robert Whitaker. Michael Tucker and Stephen Hadley commentate.

4.15 pm: Tennis
Highlights of the men's final in the French Open from Roland Garros in Paris. Defending champion Juan Carlos Ferrero was sensationally eliminated in straight sets in the second round by Russia's Igor Andreev. Could he have left the door open for Carlos Moya or Roger Federer to steal the title? Commentary by Andrew Castle and John Lloyd.
