Van Damme meeting in Brussels. Victors from last month's world championships in Seville are expected to take part in this, the penultimate leg of the Golden League series, while the event offers those who missed out in Spain an early chance for revenge.
A few competitors are just two races away from a cut of the $1 million jackpot on offer to those who win at all seven meetings, with American sprinter Marion Jones and Denmark's Kenyan-born 800m runner Wilson Kipketer among those who have set the pace.
