Tony Lewis introduces live coverage of one of today's quarter-final matches in the NatWest Trophy, the premier one-day county competition. The eight teams left in this year's 60-over contest are just two games away from the season's finale and the chance of playing in front of a packed house at Lord's in September.
Today Nottinghamshire, who had an impressive win over Surrey at the Oval in the last round, face an Essex side led by England vice-captain Nasser Hussain, while Middlesex, who should field Phil DeFreitas and Devon Malcolm, are up against last year's county champions Warwickshire.
Derbyshire take on Sussex, who are having a rough time in the county championship this year, while Glamorgan have to contend with Yorkshire, who can boast England star bowler Darren Gough.
Commentary is provided by Richie Benaud, David Gower, Geoffrey Boycott and Jack Bannister.

Tenth in a 13-part series of investigative programmes from the BBC regions.

Baby Nimi [text removed] was born with a life-threatening heart defect and the agonising decision of her parents, Makhan and Gurbax, to deny her the chance of a heart transplant, knowing that she could die without it, is the subject of tonight's programme.
The Birmingham family's eldest daughter Nicky was born with the same genetic heart defect-dilated cardiomyopathy - and was given a heart transplant when she was three. Subsequently she suffered a stroke and lost the use of her eyes, limbs and speech.
Makhan and Gurbax have had two healthy girls in between Nicky and Nimi, but have lost faith in heart transplants, believing that they prolong suffering and are not the answer to Nimi's illness.
Without the operation, Nimi is not expected to live beyond the age of four, but the couple have carefully considered their decision and have talked the situation through with the doctors involved. Tonight they talk to reporter Nick Booth about the problems they face and how difficult life is for their family.
