Continuing the journey through six centuries of warfare with military historian
Professor Richard Holmes. Arras. In May 1940the Germans staged a lightning invasion of Belgium and France, in a new kind of armoured warfare called blitzkrieg.
Richard Holmes traces their route to the French city of Arras, where a small British force launched a counter-attack that gave the Allies a vital breathing space.

This week, a visit to the borough of Rushmoor, winner of the "best city" in the regional section of the 1995 Britain in Bloom competition. This year's organisers have enlisted the help of the whole community in their efforts to make Rushmoor blossom again, putting up hanging baskets in the shopping centre and planting flowers outside the pubs. Stephen Lacey appraises the new planting policy at Cowley Manor near Gloucester, the first major garden in England to adopt the Dutch and German fashion for naturalising perennials.
Plus, there's a report on Welshman Bob Winter and the delicate, brightly coloured diascias that fill his garden in Gwent. Presented by Alan Titchmarsh.

The first in a new six-part series.
Presenter Johnny Vaughan dispatches his undercover agent Danny Brown - aka the Fall Guy - to infiltrate the lives of practical jokers and seek hilarious revenge on behalf of their victims.
This week, Danny Brown poses as a top-class photographer and a hopeless magician in order to help two victims get their own back on friends who tricked them in the past. His instructions are delivered through a hidden earpiece, while expert photographer Mauro Carraro and professional magician Paul Zenon offer advice. Two celebrity guests, comedian Phill Jupitus and model Tania Bryer, suggest ways to make the revenge sweeter still.
