Classic drama, showing over two nights, in the season marking 100 years of cinema.
Starring Arletty, Jean-Louis Barrault, Pierre Brasseur

1840: the theatre world is split into two opposing camps. Baptiste Debureau, the shy mime, and Frederick Lemaitre, the irrepressible actor, are rivals in their art as well as in their love for the bewitching Garance. But Garance has other admirers: villainous Lacenaire and the wealthy Count de Montray. All their paths intersect on the Boulevard of Crime - the highest balcony in the theatre, where the poorest people are seated.
