Champagne evokes memories: a wedding, a birth, a contest won, a deal closed - always a joyous occasion. Many countries make a sparklingwine, but they are not allowed to use the name
Champagne. This privilege belongs by right, and in recent years by law, to the wines of Champagne. This film visits the one small area of France where the vines are grown and the wine produced.

Introduced by Steve Rider.
