Shadow Hunters. In the fantastic sea caves of southern
Thailand, men swing from ropes of liana hundreds of feet above the sea, and inch their way up rickety scaffolds of bamboo to the darkest recesses of the caves. Their prize is worth more than its weight in gold - the nests of cave swiftlets, used to make birds' nest soup. Eric Valli 's film tells the story of this unique and hazardous way of life.
