A Candyfloss Code
Most of Britain's fairgrounds are breaking safety codes. That's the alarming conclusion of tonight's Brass Tacks. Four years after the introduction of a code of practice designed to make fairgrounds safer, serious accidents are on the increase. Last year alone, four people died and 45 suffered serious injuries in fairgrounds and leisure parks.
At the height of the holiday season, Jackie Spreckley toured Britain with the man who helped draw up the Fairground Safety Code examining safety standards at funfairs.
