Yorkshire Dales
Jenny PoweII, Tony Baker and the world's fastest rock show visit Swaledale and Wensleydale, part of North Yorkshire known as 'Herriot's Country' since the success of the BBC series All Creatures Great and Small.
As Jenny and Tony discover, 99 per cent of those creatures are sheep, so nobody mentions mint sauce. But that still leaves plenty to talk about: pop videos, the UK and US charts and powerplays.

Fag Ends
Smokers are a shrinking minority in Britain, yet non-smoking workplaces are still the exception rather than the rule. Last week Brass Tacks disclosed that non-smokers who live or work with smokers run a greater risk of contracting lung cancer. Yet the Government, employers and trade unions continue to fight shy of drastic measures to restrict smoking in public places.
Tonight John Harrison asks Brass Tacks viewers and professional campaigners just how far measures to protect non-smokers should go, or do smokers, too, have the right to choose?

The Lost City of the Incas
(Hiram Bingham 1878-1956) Presented by David Drew Suddenly I found myself confronted with the walls of ruined houses built of the finest quality of Inca stonework. Itfairly took my breath away. What could this place be?
Hiram Bingham was a young American who, in 1911, set off into a remote, unexplored part of the Peruvian Andes.
He was searching for the last refuge of the Incas, a city that was a treasure house of ancient riches and which, according to legend, the Spanish conquistadors had never found.
After only a week, Bingham was to discover the spectacular ruins of Machu Picchu, perched on a forest-clad mountain top. It is the most romantic archaeological site in the world, but is it, in fact, the true lost city?
David Drew follows
Bingham's trail from Cusco, the ancient Inca capital, through mountain peaks to Machu Picchu and the jungles beyond and attempts to resolve the mystery.
