ANATOLY KARPOV and GARY KASPAROV , two of the world's greatest chess champions, have played 48 games since September last year in the battle for the World Chess Championship in Moscow. With an unprecedented number of drawn games and the score at 5-3 in favour of reigning champion Karpov, the match was abruptly cancelled and a replay arranged for September. Jeremy James and Bill Hartston look at the events that have led to some of the stormiest scenes in the world of chess since the Fischer/Spassky match in Iceland in 1972, and which could lead to major changes in international tournaments.

Bill Brandt talks to Peter Adam and shows some of his favourite photographs - among them some of the pictures he took of Paris in the 20s, his compassionate photographs of Britain during the Depression and the Second World War, nudes and portraits of famous people.
Sadly this is the first and last interview Bill Brandt gave. He died in 1983. An experience both moving and exhilarating ... (THE LISTENER) Thoughtful and fascinating ... an excellent show (TIME OUT) Film editor JULIAN MILLER

Michael Palin , Neil Innes Mick Jagger , Ron Wood
John Belushi , Dan Aykroyd Gilda Radner , Bill Murray 'Let it rot', 'All you need is lunch' and 'W. C. Fields forever' -just three of the numbers in this story of Rutlemania. Any resemblance to another famous pop group success story is of course entirely intentional.
