'She can wake up after a severe convulsion with stiff limbs and a headache, smile at me, put her arms around my neck and make the simple statement, "I come back", then immediately continue with her enjoyment of life.' Mary [text removed]'s images of motherhood were shattered when she witnessed her beautiful baby daughter having her first epileptic fit.
