A direct broadcast from Arg - a small, red planet on the far side of the Galaxy inhabited by a race of polite, transmetamorphic dragons. They normally assume the shape of their visitors, all except his Highness The Rangdo that is. He now permanently resembles an aspidistra - he was enjoying the cool, green feel of being one a couple of years ago and became stuck. This seems to have caused him to become bad-tempered and he is now rather fond of evaporating trippers from Earth.
Each week a party of three people visits the planet to challenge the Rangdo to a battle of wits. They'll face various problems including the traditional Arg Drogna Game. This is played on a grid of different shapes and colours, and the winner receives the Great Crystal of Arg. Can the earthlings defeat the logic of their opponent, the Red Salamander of Zardil?
There is a phone-in too, but only if you placed your call 133j Earth years ago! This week's Earth visitors are: Sarah Green , Anne Miller and Richard Stilgoe Residents of Arg:

Falkland Sound to Plymouth Sound
An Open Space special presentation of a play about war - and the reactions of an audience with a great personal investment in that war.
I cannot think of a single war in Britain's history which has been so Pointless', wrote
Lt David Tinker RN, shortly before he was killed in action aboard HMS Glamorgan in the Falklands War. His experiences - and those of others caught up in the events of 1982 - are dramatised in Falkland Sound/Voces de Malvinas. Though initially banned from this naval town still sensitive about its losses-the Royal Court production eventually arrived at the Serenade Theatre, giving the people of Plymouth the opportunity to see and comment on it. Divorce: The law ... and after
Margaret has one son, Andrew, who is 3. She is divorcing her husband Dennis, and his parents have access to Andrew at weekends. But Margaret has stopped the access visits, and there is now a real danger of a full-blown case for the custody of Andrew - unless the new approach of conciliation can defuse the emotions of both sides. To the 174,000 couples who get divorced each year, and the 163,000 children involved, conciliation offers neutral mediation outside the courtroom, so that the marriage can be dissolved as amicably as possible with workable future arrangements for the children. In this film the work of Court Welfare Officers in Leicester is observed as they conciliate over the social and emotional consequences of ruptured relations. Although the officers cannot always succeed, there is a feeling both in and outside the law that conciliation holds out new hope to the one in three couples whose marriage will end in divorce.
