by MOLLY KEANE , dramatised in three parts by HUGH LEONARD
At last Aroon has met Richard. He was everything she had expected from her brother Hubert's description. There was something special and ' men only' about them.
' Spoilers of girls' she thought happily. The Major wasn't as impressed, but then he was kept busy being entertained by Nod and Blink, the Crowhurst girls. Aroon found her father tired easily by these visits but that was probably due to his war wound. All in all life was good and Aroon had learnt the ' Charleston '.
