The last in the present series of seven programmes, made by young people for young people, comes from the London Borough of Hammersmith.
' ... Once upon a time. somewhere in the big city, seven little children met a man from the BBC who asked them if they'd like to be in the movies and see their name in lights. "Gosh! Super!" they said " We will all be stars! " ' But things never turn out the way you expect, do they?
' This is what they did instead and Adam and the Ants and Linx did it with them.'

Ten programmes for and about parents who are concerned about the way they treat their young children.
1: Happy Families?
The case history of a London family helps to explain why some parents abuse their children. In this case isolation from family and friends, unsuitable housing and, above all, the parents' own deferent and difficult childhoods contributed to the problem.

Arthur Dent is not convinced when his best friend, Ford Prefect, tells him that the world is about to end in 12 minutes. Should he remain lying in front of the bulldozers intent on demolishing his house to make way for a bypass? Or should he accept the offer of rescue from Ford, who reveals that he is an alien from the planet of Betelgeuse (pronounced Bee-tle-jooce), and not from Guildford after all?

Spend and Prosper A portrait of John Maynard Keynes
Hailed as the greatest economic scientist of our time, his theory of Employment, Interest and Money was responsible for much of the post-war affluence of many Western nations. What exactly were his ideas? And where have they gone today? Quentin Bell , J. K. Galbraith , Dame Ninette de Valois and others describe the man who was at the heart of the 1930s Bloomsbury set, who considered unemployment to be wasteful and cruel, and who advocated running economies in deficit in order to sustain a ' precious and precarious civilisation'. He succeeded personally and internationally. He married a Russian ballet dancer, started the Cambridge Arts Theatre with his own money, and founded the Arts Council. Narrator PAUL VAUGHAN
