A full-length cartoon film based on Alexandre Dumas's classic story The Three Musketeers, which tells of the adventures of the incomparable Porthos, Athos and Aramis and their intrepid young companion-in-arms, d'Artagnan.
Presented by Angela Rippon who, with her special guests up from the country, introduces some of the people, places and events that have attracted Country Game through the year.
This week: Gypsy Dogs and Horses Joe Henson , Cotswold farmer, takes ANGELA RIPPON to the Stow Horse Fair where much of the ' horse trading' goes on out of ear-shot of the official auctioneer; and Phil Drabble and Gordon Beningfield spend a day at the Lambourn Lurcher Show where they find that these cross-bred greyhounds, traditionally the coursing dogs of gypsies, are now in fashionable demand. All kinds of people turned up on the Berkshire Downs to show off their handsome dogs and to put them through their paces behind the ' dummy hare'.

The Red Deer Of Rhum
Saggy. Maxi, Rory, Clementine and Beauty are members of the best-known herd of red deer in the world. This film follows them through a year of struggle for survival in the natural open-air laboratory of a Scottish island. For eight years the only human interference has been the constant observations of Fiona Guinness , who knows all 300 animals by sight, and a group of scientists led by Tim Clutton-Brock who are studying individual differences in the animals' behaviour - the raw material of natural selection.
