The Ship that Lost a Fortune written and narrated by DICK TRACEY
One stormy night in December 1798 the Colossus, a man of war, returning home from Nelson's fleet in the Mediterranean sank off the Scilly Isles. The ship was carrying part of Sir William Ham ilton's priceless second collection of Greek and Roman antiquities. Nearly two centuries later four men from different walks of life: ROLAND MORRis a restaurateur;
SLIM MACDONNELL (left) a film-maker; MARK horobin a professional diver; and Scillonian boatman MIKE hicks came together for a summer search beneath the waves to rediscover the Colossus and her treasure. It would prove to be the most rewarding adventure of their lives.
