The John Player League featuring
Northamptonshire v Glamorgan
From the top seven names in the bowling averages last season, two were from Northamptonshire and two were from Glamorgan.
So this could turn out to be the ' duel of the bowlers.' But with Sarfraz in his present form he could tip the balance for the home team.

In Deepest Britain A day with four expert observers who show us the wildlife most of us fail to see.
A little over a week ago, two camera teams accompanied a biologist, an ornithologist, a botanist and an archaeologist as they explored a five-mile stretch of southern England. At the same time, a cameraman who specialises in wildlife filming sat ail day in a quiet spot nearby - just to see how much wildlife came to him if he didn' move.
Remember, everything you see tonight was filmed in one day from a public right of way. It's typical of what most of us could see - if we went out into the countryside ... now.

Moscow in the late 1920s. When his new play ' Pontius Pilate ' comes under attack from the powers that be, Nikolai Maksudov , known as ' The Master,' finds an unexpected ally in the mysterious Professor Woland. Woland is a self-proclaimed master of black magic - and, in reality, the Devil himself ...
Woland has been watching the dress rehearsal of the play and against opposition from Rimsky and two of ' The Master's ' fellow playwrights, he gives his Mephistophelian consent for the performance to continue. Before ' Pontius Pilate ' opens, it receives universally hostile reviews and Woland resorts to even more devilish means to ensure the success of Nikolai's masterpiece.
