The story of ' Our Man in the Far East,' Anthony Lawrence , who will soon end his long tour of duty as a BBC Foreign Correspondent in Asia.
In this film he looks back on his experiences since his first arrival in 1956. He paints a picture of his growing fascination for the East and of what it has been like to be a British observer reporting the world scene to people at home. The film was made in Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Washington and Paris.
