Lancashire, with games in hand on the leaders, are still in the running for League honours, and victory for them in today's match is vital.
It was in this competition earlier in the season that Northampton's Colin Milburn made a welcome return to first-class cricket, four years after his car accident.

During the tea interval at 4.10*: Talking Cricket: Cliff Gladwin (Derbyshire and England), Alec Bedser (Surrey and England) and John Arlott look back on the 1949 Durban Test which produced one of the most memorable finishes of all time.

Deep in the south-west corner of Spain lies one of the most fascinating regions in Europe, the Flamenco - or flamingo - Triangle. It is a land shared by colourful people and colourful wildlife, their lives strongly intertwined. But life is beginning to change.
What will happen to this land of bulls and horses, flamingos and eagles, flamenco and fiesta? What will become of the great sand dunes like the Sahara, the vast marshes full of wildfowl, the famous Coto Dofiana, and the remarkable pilgrimage to the Lady of the Dew?

A Theatre Piece for Singers, Players and Dancers
Last month 200 Yale University students - average age 21 - gave the European premiere of Bernstein's Mass. Cameras were in the Vienna Konzerthaus to record a special TV version for BBC.
Mass is not a mass in the ordinary sense: it is an entertainment for the young-minded. The text, from the liturgy of the Roman mass with additional words by Stephen Schwartz and the composer, is about faith and people's reaction to it.
Introduced by Leonard Bernstein
