Art in Revolution
Probably the most important and certainly the most neglected of the great early 20th-century art movements took place during the first 10 years of the Russian Revolution. This week an exhibition showing the full extent of that explosion of imagination opens at the Hayward Gallery. Review uses material from the exhibition and also rare early films, reconstructions of theatre sets, fashion designs and graphics to re-create those stormy years in Russian art.

George Martin, one of the best of British record makers, has just built the most up-to-date recording studio in the country. He gives Review a demonstration of the range of electronic and other sounds he can now produce.
