starring Randolph Scott, Dolores Dorn, Marie Windsor.
A bounty hunter, tracking down outlaws for the reward, trails three train-robbers to a small town but there he finds a conspiracy of silence...
Randolph Scott, who stars in today's film, spent almost his entire movie career in the saddle. His stiff, almost wooden bearing exactly conveyed the feeling of the silent, mythical Westerner. In 1957 Andre Bazin, praising Scott's performance in "The Tall T", said: "His face bears an unmistakable resemblance to William Hart even down to the sublimely unexpressive blue eyes. Not one single expressive look, not the shadow of a thought or feeling".
