The lights for TV cameras bring the best out of the Warrington Rugby League team. After a dull start they brought off their best display of the season scoring six tries and six goals to beat Halifax in the first round of the BBC-2 Floodlit Trophy. They now meet another Yorkshire team in the quarter-finals when they oppose Huddersfield at Wilderspool tonight. Huddersfield defeated Keighley to qualify for the right to play Warrington. Huddersfield are captained by former Gloucester Rugby Union player, Richard Wallace, and have, in the three-quarters, Kersey Brown, former London Welsh player who was selected to play in his first international, England v. Wales earlier this month.
