Music by Derrick Mason

A rising young composer discovers that his girl-friend has stolen a series of notes from one of his most thorny pieces of music and re-scored it as a pop song - which she has since recorded with considerable success. His publisher urges him to sue. The result is a trial that takes the lid off both the world of serious music and that of pop.
