Branding the World 4: The Future
Kevin Jackson asks whether the brand will continue to be the mutually supportive contract which binds us to those who manufacture anything from trainers to television programmes. In order to make sense of a world where moral and aesthetic constraints have loosened their grip, how will the individual make his or her choices?
The writer Paul Fussell , for one, hopes that the consumer will dip a toe into the waters of independence.
