A new series to include music by Antonio Vivaldi - the tercentenary of whose birth falls this year - and his contemporaries in Venice. In today's programme the central work is Vivaldi's Gloria and there Is also a chamber sonata by Giovanni Legrenzi, Mastro di Cappella at St Mark's from 1685 to 1690. and possibly a teacher of Vivaldi.
