The story of Ruth Draper and an anti-Fascist gesture
It is an improbable chain which could connect Ruth Draper , the American solo actress and creator of characters, with Mussolini. The link was Lauro de Bosis, a young Italian poet and royalist anti-Fascist and Ruth Draper 's lover, who in 1931 undertook a courageous act of defiance against Mussolini by flying over Rome to drop leaflets.
