Music is your own experience, your thoughts, your wisdom.
If you don 't live it, it won't come out of your horn. They teach you there's a boundary line to music. But man there's 's no boundary line to art. (CHARLIE PARKER ) Charlie Parker was one of the major innovators of modern jazz. He was also an alcoholic and a heroin addict. When he died in 1955 his age was estimated at between 50 and 60. He was, in fact, 34 years old.
A few days after his death, the words 'Bird Lives' were found scrawled on a wall. The process of turning Parker into a myth had begun.
