Today's Choices: Celebrity Ready, Steady Cook 7.00pm BBC1
This 20-minute speed cook-in, matching members of the public with mystery ingredients and top chefs, has proved so popular that it's been promoted to primetime and given celebrity guests.
But fans of the formula should fear not. Fern Britton is still presiding, posing the naive culinary questions we're all dying to ask. Tonight EastEnders mother-and-son Wendy Richard (Pauline) and Todd Carty (Mark) join chefs Tony Tobin and Ainsley Harriott. Carty's brought along some veg from his stall and a piece of bacon, while his screen mum has gone for the sweet option with Madeira cake, creme fraiche and summer fruits.
Future guests include June Whitfield, Rory Bremner, Honor Blackman, Lorraine Kelly and Nigel Havers.
