Live coverage from Centre Court, where the ladies' singles final starts at 2pm. With reigning champion Steffi Graf missing from the tournament, this year's Wimbledon trophy will almost certainly be etched with the name of a first-time winner. If her world ranking is anything to go by, it is highly likely that top seed
Martina Hingis will have reached today's final. Other contenders for the title include Seles, Novotna and Sanchez-Vicario. But, like the weather, Wimbledon is unpredictable and always capable of serving up some surprises.
