Normandy. In the second of six bike trips through France, Tom Vernon travels from Normandy to the River Loire. He visits the village of Camembert to stock up with cheeses and meets a horse vet who runs a stud farm - a visit that turns out to be a bit of an eye-opener when a stallion does his party piece. Vernon also eats tripe for breakfast with a group of hungry firemen and finds a cave dwellerwho bashes apples for a living.
