Fat Man in France

on BBC One London

Normandy. In the second of six bike trips through France, Tom Vernon travels from Normandy to the River Loire. He visits the village of Camembert to stock up with cheeses and meets a horse vet who runs a stud farm - a visit that turns out to be a bit of an eye-opener when a stallion does his party piece. Vernon also eats tripe for breakfast with a group of hungry firemen and finds a cave dwellerwho bashes apples for a living.
