Mexico
Mexican cuisine is a mixture of old and new - ancient Indian and Spanish. This variety is reflected in the menu of chef Joaquin Guzman of the Hotel
Continental in Mexico City, who prepares a classic
Indian guacamole, chicken with chilli sauce, tortillas
(maize pancakes filled with spicy sausage) and fresh fish Veracruz-style.

Helen Bradley is known for pictures of her Edwardian childhood in the north of England. She was brought up in Lees and Oldham. Her delightful narrative paintings are only matched by her ability to tell a story. In this film she paints and talks of those many incidents of childhood which form the basis of her work. presented by Fred Emery Justice Under Fire
The Brighton bombing again revealed the murderous tactics of the IRA. Unlike them, security forces in Ulster are required to combat terrorism from within the law. But the Nationalist minority has become alienated from them. It's an issue which is high on the agenda of this month's Anglo-Irish summit. The most serious allegation by Nationalist politicians is of a 'shoot to kill' policy by police and army.

When a sinister Vietnamese businessman is murdered in his Manhattan office one night, Daryll Deever , the building's janitor, and his oddball friend Aldo are both interrogated by the police. In a television interview Daryll claims to know something about the killing in order to hold the attention of the glamorous reporter assigned to cover the crime. But their relationship places their lives in jeopardy as both the victim's henchmen and the killer get on their trail. William Hurt gives an impressive performance as the solitary night janitor trapped in a deadly game of murder and intrigue.
