'People always seem to think of me and music-hall, but I didn't start in music-hall. I'm not old enough - know I look it, but I worry a lot! ' In tonight's film Roy goes back to his native Croydon and stages an improbable ' old boys' reunion' with some of the lads who were with him in a Boys' Club concert party almost 30 years ago. The story continues via the Striptease Vin-Rouge and Butlins to his meeting with Dickie Pounds , who gave him his first professional break in her summer shows, Out of the Blue.

When Panorama's controversial No Hiding Place was first shown earlier this year, there was an outcry about the number of IRA fugitives it revealed were living openly in the Irish Republic and America. All of them had beaten extradition by pleading their offence was political. Tonight Peter Taylor updates his report on the IRA fugitives and looks at the significance of the case of Gerard Tuite , who's recently been tried in Dublin for offences allegedly committed in England.
