There were ten gold medals at stake, in swimming, diving, weightlifting and cycling. Plus action reports of the preliminary bouts in boxing, and the opening matches in badminton and bowls.
In a special edition of the popular lunchtime magazine, the regular presenting team look back over two decades of 'Beatlemania'. Joined by people who knew the 'Fab Four' they discuss the history and influence of The Beatles whose first hit 'Love me do' came out 20 years ago.

The fourth international programme in which seven teams compete for the chance to represent their country in the Grand Final.
The programme is set in the beautiful grounds of Sherborne Castle, with its many Sir Walter Raleigh associations. The games are based on a maritime theme, and are acted out in a specially constructed fishing Village, complete with galleon.
