Jeux sans Frontières British Heat
The fourth international programme in which seven teams compete for the chance to represent their country in the Grand Final.
The programme is set in the beautiful grounds of Sherborne Castle, with its many Sir Walter Raleigh associations. The games are based on a maritime theme, and are acted out in a specially constructed fishing Village, complete with galleon.
A programme of pirates, smugglers and ship's parrots, providing a show of fun, action and spectacle. The teams competing are: Great Britain: West Dorset Belgium: Frameries France: Dieppe Italy: Llzzano
