David Shepherd
DAVID SHEPHERD is best known for his paintings of wildlife, which have led to a passionate interest in conservation.
This film follows the progress, from blank canvas to finished painting, of a new elephant picture. On completion, it is to be auctioned in Zambia to raise money especially for wildlife preservation. Shepherd reveals some fascinating painting techniques, and talks of his active concern for preserving both wildlife and that other vanishing species - steam railways.
