The Butlin Championship

The opening night of this famous show, which reflects so many facets of equestrianism ranging from the mighty shires to the exuberant little Shetlands. Sefton, who won massive public sympathy when he survived the Hyde Park bombing, returns to public duty in one of the nightly displays but, as ever, the centre-piece is world class show jumping, featuring all the top British riders together with some of the best from Europe.
