Davey Graham presents
A Journey to the East
Although hardly a household name, DAVEY GRAHAM has, over the last 20 years, acquired an almost legendary status in the musical world as a virtuoso guitarist. His style encompasses elements of medieval and classical music, jazz and blues: he plays and blends the folk music of North Africa, India, and Turkestan, as well as that of Britain, Ireland and America.
In tonight's programme
Davey Graham uses an exotic range of stringed, instruments-guitar, sar-od, oud, bouzouki- to create his own fusion of the music of many countries.
