Loughborough, the second largest town in Leicestershire, is famous for its church bells and its athletes. The people of the town gather for Songs of Praise in the ancient parish church which has been re-modelled to meet the needs of twentieth-century worship. With choir and organ at the back, and the altar brought forward out of the sanctuary, the setting is an unusual one.
