ALEC TEMPLETON (Pianoforte)
Relayed from The Pavilion, Bournemouth
Christian Sinding, born in Norway in 1856, is one of the best known Scandinavian composers. A talented pianist himself, he has written much for his instrument, besides chamber music, symphonies, and other major orchestral and choral works. Sinding's music is melodious and faultlessly constructed.
