Hazel Irvine presents live coverage of the concluding sessions of the two remaining quarter-finals.
Could Steve Davis still be in the frame following his resurgence over recent seasons? For some, a dream match would see him up against fellow veteran and "people's champion" Jimmy White. But even if the old guard of Davis and White did make it past the qualifiers in the first round, they'll then have faced extremely stern tests against title-holder Shaun Murphy and 2002 champion Peter Ebdon respectively. Meanwhile, who'll be battling it out in the second of tonight's quarter-finals? Twice world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan may well be there, and could be up against either world number two John Higgins or two-times winner Mark Williams. <s) Also live online at www.bbc.co.uk/sport (UK only)
